Summerville Departs West Ham for Al-Hilal in £60m Deal
Crysencio Summerville, the West Ham winger, has finalized his transfer to Saudi club Al-Hilal, with the deal reportedly valued at £60 million. This figure includes an initial £55 million, supplemented by an additional £5 million in add-ons.
The 24-year-old Netherlands international spent two seasons with West Ham, during which he netted eight goals across 56 appearances. A notable period saw him score in five successive outings for the Hammers in January and February. However, he was part of the squad that experienced relegation from the Premier League in May. Summerville also featured in four World Cup matches for the Netherlands, finding the back of the net against Japan and Sweden in group stage play.
This substantial sale follows another significant departure for West Ham earlier in the summer, with midfielder Mateus Fernandes moving to Tottenham Hotspur in an £85 million transfer.
