Vinicius Jr’s Future at Real Madrid in Focus Amid Contract Talks and Arsenal Interest
Vinicius Jr’s situation at Real Madrid is drawing considerable attention as the 26-year-old Brazilian forward enters the final year of his current deal. Despite reported interest from Arsenal, Real Madrid is set to resume contract negotiations with his representatives this week, though the club is reportedly unwilling to increase their latest offer.

The prolific attacker, who has contributed 128 goals and 100 assists for Madrid, has returned to pre-season training under new manager José Mourinho. Vinicius Jr expressed his contentment with the early sessions, stating that Mourinho wants him “to be happy, cheerful and playing my football.”

While the player projects a positive outlook, the ongoing contract discussions present a potential challenge for Real Madrid, who are keen to avoid losing a key player for free next year. The speculation surrounding his future has not deterred him from focusing on preparations for the upcoming season, following his participation with Brazil in the World Cup.

In other transfer news, Nottingham Forest is reportedly targeting Manchester City’s 28-year-old Netherlands midfielder Tijjani Reijnders in a deal valued at £55 million. Meanwhile, Tottenham is exploring several attacking options, including Manchester City’s Brazil winger Savinho, Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jean-Matteo Bahoya. Tottenham is also said to be interested in Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, valued at £65 million, and has been offered former Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun. Chelsea, in turn, is reportedly close to securing a deal for Rayo Vallecano’s 28-year-old Spanish left-back Pep Chavarria.
