Arriving in South Korea, the team was met by a throng of fans, prompting Maresca to quickly transition from the airport to a press conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno-gu on August 4th.
During the press conference, Maresca highlighted the importance of seeing improvements in the team’s performance with each game, building on observations from their match against Inter Milan. He emphasized the opportunity for younger players to showcase their abilities, citing Ryan Machedo’s previous strong showing, though noting Machedo would be absent due to a shoulder issue.
