Daejeon, South Korea – Hanwha Eagles slugger Noh Si-hwan launched his 16th home run of the season on May 2nd at Hanwha Life Eagles Park, achieving the notable feat of hitting a home run against every team in the KBO League this year. His two-run shot in the second inning helped propel the Eagles to a dominant 14-3 victory over KT Wiz.
Noh, batting fifth as the third baseman, stepped to the plate in the bottom of the second with a runner on first and the score tied at zero. Facing KT’s left-handed pitcher Oh Won-seok, he connected with a 141 km/h fastball down the middle, sending it over the left-center field wall. This marked his first home run against the Wiz this season, making him the fourth player in the KBO to hit a homer against all opposing clubs this year, following Austin Dean (LG Twins), Park Kun-woo (NC Dinos), and Kim Do-yeong (KIA Tigers).
This powerful display was Noh’s first home run in three games, with his previous long ball coming against SSG Landers on April 27th. He has been particularly effective against certain teams, boasting three home runs each against KIA, SSG, and Doosan Bears, and two against LG.
